Starting my Pure Barre Adventure!
Okay guys, I am super excited to start a new series on my blog about starting Pure Barre! There is a new studio opening in Apple Valley, MN which I am partnering with in order to share my experience and results over the next few months.
So what is Pure Barre and what will it do for you?
Pure Barre is a 55 minute full body, low impact workout. It utilizes a ballet barre to do small movements in order to tone, lift and burn all of your most troubled areas. You do not need any dance expirience and it is perfect for all fitness levels. And here’s the best part, when focusing on attending 3-4 classes a week you will see results in 8-10 classes! In less than 3 weeks you will start to see a difference. This is huge because if you are like me, you need to see results in order to keep your motivation up.
Pure Barre Apple Valley
Pure Barre is something that I’ve heard of but I have never tried because there weren’t any studios near our home. Not only is this location perfect for those of us living south of the river, it’s owned by the fabulous Ashley Coe. Ashley is a Midwestern girl who has spent the last several years living in Texas. She took her first Pure Barre class and fell in love with the community, technique and results. She moved from student to teacher to manager and is now excited to be opening her own studio!
I will be taking my very first Pure Barre class tomorrow!! The studio technically opens on Monday, but Ashley is having a soft opening this weekend for people to try out a free class. Then starting on Monday I will be attending 4-5 classes a week and coming back here to report in my thoughts, experience and (most importantly) results! While you can definitely lose weight and inches by doing these classes, my personal goal is toning and getting back into a steady workout routine.
In the past few months I have finally been feeling like I’m getting my groove back post baby. (Sad, I know, seeing as she’s 18 months) I, like many other moms, had some post-baby health and healing issues to take care of which lingered for awhile. And then, honestly, my biggest challenge has been sleep. Or the lack there of. Our sweet daughter is just now consistently sleeping through the night and leaving me to finally feel like a full person again. woo hoo! I’m excited to get back into a workout routine and I’m excited to find out if Pure Barre is the community I’m looking for. I’m looking forward to having some ‘me time’ throughout the week and meeting other women and moms!
